Problems solved by technology

[0005] The current RAID disk array technology is used in the way of a stand-alone embedded controller, or an external separate disk array hardware, or a way of embedding a soft RAID controller in the operating system. These three implementation methods are generally limited to a single machine or a local area network. Within the range, it can deal with the failure of a single disk, but it cannot deal with the failure of the hardware or software of the whole machine

Embodiment

[0041] The implementation method of Network Redundant Array of Disks (NRAID) based on Peterson graph will be described below in conjunction with application scenarios. Such as image 3 As shown, an application scenario provided by the present invention: Assume that a storage service operating company in X (for example, Beijing) city deploys 10 storage nodes according to urban areas and suburban counties, and the bandwidth between the nodes is all connected by a good link with a bandwidth of > 500 Mbps Yes, these 10 nodes are configured into a Peterson graph structure, and their numbers are in accordance with figure 2 shown.

[0042] The node degree of each node in the Peterson graph and the distance between each node are shown in Table 1 and Table 2 below.

Abstract

The invention provides a data storage method based on a Peterson network storage structure. The method comprises the following steps: forming 10 storage nodes into a network structure with a strong structural rule graph according to a Peterson graph mode under a wide area network environment, and utilizing disk storage capability of a plurality of network hosts to realize data storage supported bya network redundant array of an inexpensive disk (NRAID) with various reliability levels under a network environment according to a implementation mode of a single computer RAID technology with various reliability levels. The network structure with the strong structural rule graph takes any one storage node admitted as a control node and the other 9 storage nodes as neighbor nodes of the controlnode, wherein, 3 nodes are one-hop neighbor nodes, and the other 6 nodes are two-hop neighbor nodes; the control node is used for storing metadata information of data and sending out data access information; and the neighbor nodes are used for providing data storage service. The method helps combine special properties of the Peterson graph with the RAID technology, thus improving reliability of data storage under a network condition.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of information network, in particular to a data storage method based on Peterson's network storage structure. Background technique [0002] At present, the field of information technology has shifted from a computing-centric architecture to a storage-centric architecture. Such a transformation is caused by the massive information generated with the gradual development and growth of the Internet. The massive information faces problems such as processing, storage, and sharing. [0003] In the process of data storage, in order to solve the data reliability and performance problems of a single disk, people have proposed RAID technology. RAID is the abbreviation of "Redundant Array of Independent Disk", which means independent redundant disk array in Chinese. Redundant disk array technology was born in 1987, proposed by the University of California, Berkeley. [0004] A simple explanation of RAID disk array is...
