Abstract

The invention relates to a method for treating and recycling waste water in the production process of aromatic acid. The waste water mainly contains saturated organic acid and a little amount of salt. The method comprises the following steps: leading the waste water raw material flow which mainly contains saturated organic acid and a little amount of salt under a certain saturated temperature to be heated and increase the temperature so as to retain concentrated organic acid and salt by reverse osmosis membrane technology under a certain temperature condition which is at least higher than theoriginal saturated temperature, thus generating clean seepage flow for recycling; and the clean seepage flow contains less organic salt and organic acid compared with that of the raw material flow. Compared with the prior art, the method has reasonable technique, no need of using large amount of NaOH, simple operation, low cost and low energy consumption.
