The method comprises the following steps of: extracting two images of a plaque area and a plaque radial area as the classification feature with respect to the characteristics of plaque ultrasonic image in the artery blood vessel; extracting the image classification information via K-L conversion, mapping a plurality of features into a few comprehensive features, and reducing the space dimension of the features; and constructing a classifier suitable for the plaque image by using a support vector machine as the classification model, wherein the support vector machine classification method comprises a training stage and an identifying stage.
