Problems solved by technology

[0005] When powder injection molding technology is used to prepare precursor in situ transformation reinforced composite parts, it usually needs to go through solvent degreasing process, and precursors such as PCS are generally soluble in commonly used organic degreasing solvents such as trichlorethylene, n-hexane, n-heptane, gasoline, etc. , so traditional paraffin-based multi-component binders cannot be applied in the powder injection molding technology of precursor in-situ conversion reinforced composite parts

Embodiment 1

[0015] Raw materials: The mass fraction of each component of the binder is 63% PEG6000+15%PVB+15%PCS+7%SA.

[0016] Melt the low-melting PEG6000 completely at a constant temperature of 180°C, then add the weighed SA and PCS and keep stirring, and finally add PVB in batches and stir vigorously until a uniform emulsion is obtained, and then take it out after cooling. Finally, a precursor water-soluble binder with good compatibility is obtained. Combine this binder with Si with sintering aid 3 N 4 The powder is mixed with a volume fraction of 50% to make a feed, and then molded at an injection temperature of 150 °C and an injection pressure of 100 MPa, then degreased and sintered to obtain a SiCp / Si 3 N 4 The relative density of composite ceramic parts is up to 94%, the dimensional accuracy is up to ±0.2%, and the comprehensive mechanical properties are good.

Embodiment 2

[0018] Raw materials: The mass fraction of each component of the binder is 63% PEG2000+15%PVB+15%PCS+7%SA.

[0019] Melt PEG2000 with a low melting point at a constant temperature of 180°C, then add the weighed SA and PCS and keep stirring, and finally add PVB in batches and stir vigorously until a uniform emulsion is obtained, and then take it out after cooling. Finally, a precursor water-soluble binder with good compatibility is obtained. Combine this binder with Si with sintering aid 3 N 4 The powder is mixed with a volume fraction of 42% to make a feed, and then molded at an injection temperature of 145 ° C and an injection pressure of 100 MPa, then degreased and sintered to obtain SiCp / Si 3 N 4 The relative density of composite ceramic parts is up to 93%, the dimensional accuracy is up to ±0.2%, and the comprehensive mechanical properties are good.

Abstract

The invention discloses a precursor water-soluble binder for powder injection molding and a preparation method, and belongs to the technical field of powder injection molding. The preparation method is technically characterized by comprising the following steps of: fully melting PEG with low melting point in a thermostatic device at a proper temperature lower than a polymer melting point, then adding weighed SA and PCS into the melted PEG and continuously stirring the mixture, finally adding PVB into the mixture in batch and powerfully stirring the mixture till obtaining an uniform milky product, and taking the product out after the milky product is cooled so as to obtain the precursor water-soluble binder with good compatibility. The precursor water-soluble binder comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 60 to 70 percent of PEG (1,000 to 6,000), 10 to 25 percent of PVB, 10 to 25 percent of PCS and 5 to 10 percent of SA. The precursor water-soluble binder has the advantages that: the components adopted in the water-soluble binder system are environment-friendly, and a leaching solvent is distilled water, so the degreasing rate is high and the cost is low; and the PCS serving as the binder component is used for powder injection molding, so in-site generated nano SiC granules are fine and distributed uniformly during cracking and play a good role in reinforcing a base material.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of powder injection molding, and in particular provides a method for preparing a precursor water-soluble binder for powder injection molding. Background technique [0002] Particle-reinforced composite materials are one of the most concerned composite materials at present. Since the addition of reinforcing particles can significantly improve the mechanical properties of materials, the research on particle-reinforced composite materials is deepening and the application is becoming more and more extensive. [0003] There are many preparation methods of particle reinforced composite materials, such as stirring casting method, traditional powder metallurgy method, precursor pyrolysis method, powder injection molding method and so on. Although the traditional powder metallurgy molding method has a simple process, the formed blanks formed by molding often have uneven density, and the shape complexity of the parts...
