The on-line monitor of the tail gases of the motor vehicle comprises a mainframe, a sampling system, a motor vehicle uphill and downhill judging device, a motor rotating speed measuring system, an oil temperature sensor, a tail gas temperature sensor, a control terminal, an alarm device and a wireless data transmission system, wherein the mainframe comprises a tail gas measuring system and an interface control part and is arranged on a relative clean position inside the motor vehicle, and the tail gases of the motor vehicle enter the tail gas measuring system through the sampling system; the motor vehicle uphill and downhill judging device, the motor rotating speed measuring system, the oil temperature sensor, the tail gas temperature sensor, the alarm device, the wireless data transmission system and the control terminal are respectivelyconnected with the mainframe; and the wireless data transmission system is used for directly transmitting test data to an environmental monitoring master station.
