Abstract

The invention discloses a terahertz spectral analysis device and a terahertz spectral analysis method for a biofilm, and relates to a device for performing terahertz wave band spectral analysis on the biofilm and a method for performing terahertz wave band spectral detection on the biofilm by using terahertz surface plasma waves. The terahertz spectral analysis device for the biofilm comprises a semiconductor chip (3), two blades (2) placed in parallel, a terahertz wave source (11) and a terahertz time domain spectrograph (6); the two blades are vertical to the semiconductor chip (3); the distances between knife edges of the two blades (2) and the upper surface of the semiconductor chip (3) is smaller than an attenuation distance of the terahertz surface plasma wave (4) with the largest frequency in the air; and the distance between the two blades is smaller than the transmission distance of the terahertz surface plasma wave with the largest frequency on the surface of a semiconductor. The sensitivity and the signal to noise ratio of the spectral analysis device are improved by using strong electric-field strength of the terahertz surface plasma wave in a small space on the surface of the semiconductor.
