The non-burnt straw and sludge composite self-insulation material is a novel lightweight building self-insulation materia which is prepared by mixing sludge in rivers, lakes and pools, industrial waste residues, farmland straws, lime and water through an alkali stimulation technology under the steam curing action. The non-burnt straw and sludge composite self-insulation material comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 8.2-57.1% of sludge, 0.5-61.5% of industrial waste residues, 0.1-4.1% of farmland straws, 4.1-22.4% of lime, and 17.7-36.0% of water. The main raw materials, such as the sludge, the industrial waste residues and the farmland straws used for preparing the non-burnt straw and sludge composite self-insulation material disclosed by the invention are all wastes.
