Abstract

The invention discloses a halogen-free low-smoke high-performance sheathing material for locomotives and cars. The halogen-free low-smoke high-performance sheathing material disclosed by the invention comprises the following components in parts by weight: 25-30 parts of elastomer copolymer TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), 50-60 parts of aluminium hydroxide fire retardant, 5-10 parts of stabilizer AD-160 and 1-5 parts of cross-linking agent TAIC (triallyl isocyanurate). Compared with the prior art, the sheathing material disclosed by the invention has the following beneficial effects that: (1) the sheathing material has high fire retardance which meets burning scale requirement of GB / T12528-2008; (2) the sheathing material has mineral oil and fuel oil resisting characteristics which meet the requirement of GB / T12528-2008; (3) on the promise of no halogen, phosphorus and nitrogen elements, the sheathing material has excellent thermal ageing resisting property which meets the requirement of the GB / 12528-2008; and (4) the finished product is environmentally-friendly, tasteless and wear-resistant and can not produce white frost after being irradiated and crosslinked.
