Embodiment 1

[0026] The mixed silage method of chicory and silage corn mainly consists of the following steps:

[0027] (1) Harvesting chicory and silage corn; the chicory and silage corn used in this example are both harvested in a specific period, the chicory is harvested at the rosette stage, and the silage corn is harvested between the wax ripening stage and the full ripening stage.

[0028] (2) Cut the silage corn stalk into a length of 1.5-2.5cm, and cut the chicory into a length of 3.0-5.0cm; cut the harvested chicory and silage corn, and cut the silage corn stalk into a length of 1.5-2.5cm, Cut chicory into lengths of 3.0-5.0 cm, and the silage corn stalks need to be flattened.

[0029] (3) Control the water content of chicory and silage corn to make the water content reach 65%. After drying the cut chicory for 1-2 hours, estimate the approximate water content by hand. The hand grasping method is to hold the cut chicory and silage corn into a ball in the hand. If the palm is wet a...

Embodiment 2

[0037] The difference between this example and Example 1 is only that the water content and fermentation temperature of chicory and silage corn are different. The difference of this embodiment is that the weight ratio of chicory and silage corn is 2:7.

Embodiment 3

[0039] The difference between this example and Example 1 is only that the water content and fermentation temperature of chicory and silage corn are different. The difference of this embodiment is that the weight ratio of chicory and silage corn is 3:8.

Abstract

The invention discloses a chicory and ensiled corn mixed ensiling method. The method mainly solves the problems that chicory is not suitable to be separately ensiled due to high water and protein content and the ensiling cost is improved due to high digestion rate, low protein content and requirement for exogenous additive when the ensiled corn is separately ensiled. The method mainly comprises the following steps of: (1) harvesting the chicory and the ensiled corn; (2) cutting ensiled corn stalks to the length of 1.5 to 2.5 centimeters, and cutting the chicory to the length of 3.0 to 5.0 centimeters; (3) mixing the chicory and the ensiled corn uniformly in a weight ratio of (1-3): (4-8) when the water content of each of the chicory and the ensiled corn is 60 to 75 percent; (4) adding themixture into an ensiling container, compacting and sealing; and (5) fermenting at the temperature of between 20 and 30 DEG C, and thus finishing ensiling. The invention has the advantages that any additive is not required, the ensiling equipment is simple, and the method is environment-friendly, convenient to operate and the like.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a silage method, in particular to a mixed silage method of chicory and silage corn. Background technique [0002] Chicory (cichorium intybus L.) is a perennial temperate herb of the family Astera Compositae. Chicory likes a warm and humid climate, has strong adaptability, is relatively drought-resistant and heat-resistant, rarely occurs pests and diseases, has good palatability, and is nutritious. High value, tender leaves, good regeneration, long utilization period, high yield and wide adaptability. Chicory is a green fodder that various livestock, poultry and fish like to eat. At the same time, chicory has a variety of uses such as medicinal, edible, and feed, and has great potential for development. Chicory is rich in nutritional value, high in protein, rich in various amino acids, and high in soluble sugar, but due to its high water and protein content, it is not suitable for silage alone. [0003] Silage corn is the mos...
