Abstract

A fresh-keeping packaging material with a composite coating of PVA-liquid paraffin by adopting combined modification of functional nanosized TiO2-SiO2 and a preparation method thereof. The packaging material is produced through the reaction and recombination of the following components in an aqueous solution: 40-70g/L of PVA, 4-10g/L of liquid paraffin, 0.15-0.4g/L of nanosized TiO2, 0.2-0.5g/L of nanosized SiO2, 20%-50% (w/w[liquid paraffin]) of surfactant and 4-6g/L of glutaraldehyde. The preparation method comprises adding the nanosized TiO2 and SiO2 to the PVA solution to conduct ultrasonic mixing and thermostatic reaction; and then adding liquid paraffin-surfactant and glutaraldehyde to conduct cross-linking reaction, obtaining the composite-coating material. The PVA-based nano-modified composite-coating packaging material of the invention has a remarkably-reduced film-forming moisture permeability and a significantly improved bacteriostatic and fresh-keeping function.
