Abstract

A pipeline is reasonably laid on the bottom of a coal storage to input water vapour into the coal storage, the water vapour then continuously seeps into the coal storage via water vapour discharge holes on the pipeline, so that the coal stored in the coal storage can be always covered in the water vapour, the input of the water vapour can ensure the that temperature of the stored coal cannot exceed 100 DEG C and that the moisture in the coal can be kept in a stable and balanced state for a long time, and consequently, the method solves the problems of constant temperature rise and moisture loss as the result of the oxidative decomposition of the coal stored for a long time, so that the phenomenon of spontaneous combustion cannot take place any more in the circular coal storage.
