Abstract

The invention discloses a 3G (The third Generation Telecommunication) and Ad hoc heterogeneous network switchover method. According to the 3G and Ad hoc heterogeneous network switchover method, a calling mobile terminal and a called mobile terminal communicate with each other through a 3G network and an Ad hoc network. The 3G and Ad hoc heterogeneous network switchover method comprises the following steps of: (1) measuring the RSCP (Received Signal Code Power) of a PCCPCH (Primary Common Control Physical Channel) of a base station in an active set and a candidate set of the 3G network, and measuring a signal state of the Ad hoc network simultaneously; (2) switching the 3G network to the 3G network; (3) switching the 3G network to the Ad hoc network; and (4) switching the Ad hoc network to the 3G network.
