Embodiment Construction

[0019] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with drawings and embodiments.

[0020] The present invention is a method for measuring optical vortex topological number, the method comprising the following steps:

[0021] Step (1): If figure 1 As shown, the detected light vortex is introduced into the Lorentz Gaussian beam generated by the laser diode 1 through the phase modulation device 2. The Lorentz Gaussian beam is a linearly polarized beam, and the polarization direction is consistent with the direction of the Gaussian function distribution of the Lorentz Gaussian beam. The center of the optical vortex coincides with the center of symmetry of the Lorentz-Gaussian beam. The phase modulation device 2 adopts a phase-type spatial light modulator based on liquid crystal of German Holoeye Company. The phase modulation device 2 is connected with a controller 5 during use, and the topological number of the detected optical vortex can be passed throu...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for measuring topological charges of an optical vortex. The existing technical method has the disadvantages that the method is complex, the measuring sensitivity is low and is apt to be interfered with and the data processing is complex. The method uses the focusing property of a Lorentz Gaussian beam containing the optical vortex to realize the measurement of the topological charges of the optical vortex. Specifically, the Lorentz Gaussian beam is introduced into the detected optical vortex by using a phase modulation device, then the Lorentz Gaussian beam containing the optical vortex is focused through a converging element, a light intensity distribution curve in a direction perpendicular to an incident beam polarization phase on a focal plane is detected through linear array photoelectric sensors, the valley number of the light intensity distribution curve is the topological charges of the optical vortex, and the decimal fraction of peak ratio of an asymmetrical light intensity distribution curve is an integer-removed remainder of fraction topological charges. Therefore, the measuring method provided by the invention has the characteristics of simplicity, convenience in realization, high interference resistance, high measuring accuracy, simple data processing and the like.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of optical technology, and relates to an optical measurement method, in particular to a measurement method of optical vortex topological number. Background technique [0002] The demand for optical vortex measurement widely exists in the fields of light field analysis, wavefront detection, optical measurement, instrument evaluation, and optical micro-manipulation. For example, in light field analysis, when the beam contains optical vortices, the topological charge of the optical vortex is a very important parameter, which not only affects the phase distribution, but also greatly affects the light intensity distribution and optical angular momentum distribution, which is crucial to the measurement of topological numbers. In the prior art, there is a method for measuring the topological number of optical vortices, see the paper title measuring the topological charge of integer and fraction vortices using multipoint pla...
