Abstract
The present invention relates to a wood modification method, in particular to a low-grade fast-growing wood modification solution, its preparation method and application. The wood modification solution of the invention is prepared through a synthesis reaction of formaldehyde, melamine, urea, a toughening agent, a stabilizer and water. By adding the toughening agent in the synthetic process, the wood embrittlement problem is overcome. At the same time, the stabilizer is added during synthesis, so that active groups of melamine-formaldehyde resin are enclosed, and polymerization of the melamine-formaldehyde resin can be prevented, thereby improving stability of the wood modification solution and prolonging the storage period. Compared with untreated wood, the wood treated by the modification solution of the invention has a density increased by 30-40%, hardness increased by 80-150% and a volume expansion rate up to 69%, and the release amount of formaldehyde reaches the E1 grade requirements of national standards.
