Abstract

The invention provides a fireproof composite material which comprises polycarbonate, a sulfonate fire retardant, and glass fibers as inorganic filling materials. The component ratio of the polycarbonate is 100 parts by weight; the component ratio of the sulfonate fire retardant is 0.1-5.0 parts by weight; and the component ratio of the glass fiber is 5-50 parts by weight. Therefore, the fireproof composite material provided by the invention has a thickness of 1.5-1.0 cm, and has a fireproof grade of UL 94 V0 when tested by a vertical combustion test. The fireproof material provided by the invention can maintain a fireproof grade of UL 94 V0 with a light-weight requirement being met; the adopted sulfonate fire retardant is an environment-friendly material, and can avoid environment pollution; the glass fibers are used as inorganic filling materials, which can enhance the rigidity and the dimension stability of the fireproof composite material.
