The photovoltaic flexibility grid-connection device comprises a support capacitance module, a voltage detection module, a program-controlled computer (PCC) module, a current detection module, a controller module, a pulse-width modulation (PWM) pulse generation module and a contravariant module. Voltage signals collected by the voltage detection module from two ends of the support capacitance module and power grid current signals of the PCC module collected by the current detection module serve as input signals of the controller module, outputs signals of the controller module serve as input signals of the PWM pulse generation module, pulse signals generated by the PWM pulse generation module are input in the contravariant module to control output of the contravariant module. The photovoltaic flexibility grid-connection device and the control method can achieve harmonic suppression and reactive compensation, can reduce impacts of load sudden change on the power grid, improve quality of photovoltaic system grid-connection current, have characteristics of the friendly power grid and are simple in control method.
