Abstract

The system and the method are used for on line detecting the characters at the bottom of the bowl of instant noodles. The detection system comprises an industrial camera, a computer, a programmable logic controller, two arrival sensors, an electromagnetic valve and an air faucet, wherein the first arrival sensor is used for sensing whether the instant noodles arrive or not, and a sensing signal of the first arrival sensor is transmitted to the programmable logic controller; the programmable logic controller triggers the industrial camera to photograph the bottom of the bowl of the instant noodles after receiving the sensing signal; an image obtained by the camera is transmitted to the computer; the computer processes the image, detects the characters at the bottom of the bowl of the instant noodles, and transmits a detection result to the programmable logic controller; and when the received detection result indicates that the characters are unqualified and after an arrival sensing signal is received from the second arrival sensor, the programmable logic controller controls the electromagnetic valve to act, so that the air faucet blows air to blow noodles with wrongly printed characters away from a nick of a production line. The system and the method are researched and developed on the basis of vision inspection, can be used for finishing much work instead of an operator, and are stable in performance, and the production speed is greatly increased.
