Abstract

The invention discloses a method for improving lawn forming quality through applying air-dried sludge substrate. The method comprises the steps of selecting full tall fescue seeds as a lawn planting material, applying 300g, 600g and 900g of air-dried sludge to test fields respectively, and watering the substrate fully to guarantee smooth germination of the seeds at an initial cultivation stage and growth of seedlings at an initial stage; and selecting five plants from treated quadrats after cultivation for 30 days and measuring vertical heights of the seedlings. Experimental results prove that due to application of the air-dried sludge under the natural condition, accumulation of above-ground biomass of the tall fescue is promoted, increase of the lawn plant density is promoted, and the chlorophyll content is increased, so that the lawn quality is improved, meanwhile, the plant membrane lipid peroxidation product content is reduced, and environmental adaptability of lawn plants is improved effectively.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of environmental protection and relates to urban afforestation, in particular to a method for directly applying substrates by using air-dried sludge to improve the quality of lawn formation. Background technique [0002] Municipal sludge is the sediment produced by urban sewage treatment plants after various levels of treatment and purification of sewage. Its composition is related to the source of sewage, treatment technology, living standards and dietary structure of urban residents. But most municipal sludge contains a lot of organic matter and contains nutrients needed for plant growth. Studies have shown that the nutrients and organic matter content in the sludge of 29 sewage treatment plants in 16 cities in my country are different. The content of organic matter and macronutrient elements in urban sludge in the region is relatively high. In my country's municipal sludge, the highest organic matter con...
