Abstract

The invention discloses fuel quantity indication system and method. The system comprises a fuel quantity sensor and a fuel computer. The fuel quantity sensor is used for measuring fuel quantity of an airplane in real time and transmitting a fuel quantity signal to the fuel computer. The fuel computer is used for calculating according to the fuel signal to obtain fuel quantity data and outputting the fuel quantity data to a display for real-time displaying. The fuel computer is further used for pausing receiving of the fuel quantity signal from the fuel quantity sensor when monitoring that a vehicular external communication system starts transceiving voice, keeping unchanged fuel quantity data displayed on the display, restoring receiving of the fuel quantity signal from the fuel quantity sensor until monitoring that the vehicular external communication system stops transceiving the voice, and updating the fuel quantity data on the display. The fuel quantity indication system and method have the advantages that adverse effect upon airplane fuel quantity indication by electromagnetic interference generated by the vehicular external communication system can be shielded and fuel quantity indication is more stable and stable.
