Abstract

The invention provides a laser beam shaping control system for forming an optical trap. The laser beam shaping control system for forming the optical trap comprises a laser light source unit, a laser beam combining gating unit and a laser modulation unit. The laser beam combining gating unit comprises a first reflector, a dichroic mirror, a second reflector and an acousto-optic tunable filter. The laser modulation unit comprises a liquid crystal spatial light modulator, a first relay lens, a hollow aperture, a second relay lens and a liquid crystal phase variable retarder. The laser beam shaping control system for forming the optical trap can modulate the wavelength, the power, the amplitude, the phase and the polarization state of laser simultaneously, achieve subtle and sophisticated shaping of laser beams, provide the light source which is needed for controlling micro matter and meanwhile give consideration on microscopic lighting and fluorescence excitation, thereby facilitating operation and component analysis on biological samples or particles.
