Method of obtaining hemp plant juice and use of same for the production of beverages

By harvesting and separating the leafy, fibrous and crumb parts of the cannabis plant seeds before they mature for pressing, the problem of under-utilization of cannabis plant resources is solved, the acquisition of juice with high protein content and the production of a variety of products are achieved, improving market flexibility.

Embodiment approach

[0025] The present invention relates to a method of producing juice from a cannabis plant. According to a first embodiment, the cannabis plants are pressed whole, immediately after harvesting, or preferably, after separating the leaves and flowers of the harvested plants and without prior drying or retting.

[0026] Preferably, the plants are desoiled and then pressed, preferably using an extruder, more preferably press rolls. Especially cold-pressed juice from freshly harvested cannabis plants. The resulting juice can be used as a beverage, processed into carbonated drinks, beauty products, or fermented into alcoholic beverages and distilled if necessary.

[0027] Preferably the sap is obtained by separate pressing of the roots, fibres, woody debris and leaves plus leafy flowering tops and these sap are mixed in a controlled manner for human consumption and use. This is the preferred method to achieve the purpose of extracting and retaining all natural nutritional and all n...

Embodiment

[0077] Cannabis Sativa plants are cut in the field at a length of 1 / 5 to 1 / 4 of the plant's height from the ground so that the harvested plants do not touch the ground. The plants were placed in full length on a grid demarcating a layered space of about 30 cm thickness, and then transferred into covered containers. In the case of "partial harvesting", only the uppermost 1 / 5 to 1 / 4 of the plants, the leafy flowering tops, are harvested and placed on a grid in a covered container using the same procedure. The container lid is configured with a structure for collecting evaporated liquid from the plants. This is done within the first 24 hours after cutting. The container can be connected to a suction line for sucking the air containing the evaporated liquid. This process helps to take advantage of time and allow time gaps for further processing of the hemp stalks after harvest.

[0078] The resulting liquid can be used as such for the cleaning and softening of the leather surfa...

Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for producing beverages on the basis of juice from the hemp plant. Leaves and bloom of the hemp plant have previously been processed to ethereal hemp oils by water steam distillation. Hemp seeds are an indispensable part of bird feeding. Hemp oil can also be obtained from the hemp seeds. Hemp fibres are separated from the stems by breaking or milling of the stems. Depending on the lengths of the obtained fibre, coarse fleece or fine cellulose is produced. A common application is as sealing material of pipe threads. The invention relates to a method for obtaining juice suitable for human consumption from the hemp plant, wherein the complete hemp stem is pressed after harvest without prior drying or retting.; The invention further provides a method for obtaining juice from the hemp plant, wherein the upper leafy part of the hemp plant is cut, the leaves are stripped of the remaining stem, fibres and shives being separated from each other at the stem, the leafy part of the stem, the fibres and the shives being pressed individually under pressure and the so obtained pressed juices are being mixed in a controlled manner. In a yet further aspect, the invention relates to a method for the manufacturing of beverages on the basis of juice from the hemp plant, wherein the hemp juice is mixed with yeast and than fermented.

Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a method for obtaining juice from a hemp plant, which is a Cannabis Sativa (Cannabaceae) plant certified by the European Union (not to be used as a narcotic drug), and to a sap suitable for humans produced by the method of the invention. Consume the juice. The invention also relates to a method of producing a beverage suitable for human consumption using juice from a cannabis plant. Background technique [0002] Hemp, or Cannabis Sativa, belongs to the family of Cannabicea and is a relative of hop. Such plants have been cultivated for hundreds of years on all continents and in a variety of climates and different soil conditions. It is a very undemanding and tolerant plant, but cannot tolerate frost, ie such plants need to be harvested before freezing temperatures arrive. The usable parts of such plants are roots, fibers, cuttings, leaves, leafy flowering tops and kernels. [0003] Varieties / species that are used in commerce but not as...
