The invention discloses a method and a device for inhibiting photovoltaic generation output power fluctuation. The method comprises the steps as follows: connecting photovoltaic array assemblies in series or in parallel, charging an energy storage device through a DC/DC (direct current/direct current) charging device, converting energy into an alternating-current power supply through a bidirectional converter, and supplying the power supply to a load; and at night or in the absence of sunlight, charging the energy storage device through the DC/AC bidirectional converter by electric energy of a power grid during the period that the valley electricity price of the power grid is cheap so as to achieve a peak load shifting effect of the power grid. A principle is that the photovoltaic output power is stabilized by the capacity of the energy storage device to guarantee stable output power, improve power supplying reliability and output the electric energy with qualified quality to a user. The energy generated by photovoltaic generation is stored at first and then converted into the alternating-current power supply through the bidirectional converter, and the power supply is supplied to the load; and under the circumstance that the energy storage capacity is full, a controller is switched to a floating charge mode, the power supply is directly supplied to the load, and the stored energy serves as a supplement.
