Problems solved by technology

Because North American holly has problems such as late flowering and fruit setting (generally takes 3 years), new leaves of cuttings are easy to lose water and fall off, and twigs are easy to rot, resulting in the difficulty of breeding and long product cycle.

Embodiment 1

[0024] The cutting breeding method of North American holly of the present invention takes the cutting in the spring of 2011 as an example. The specific steps are as follows:

[0025] Cutting time: May 21-22, 2011

[0026] Preparation before cutting: The greenhouse is sprayed with 2000-4000ppm potassium permanganate for ground disinfection. Mix the ratio of perlite: peat: slow-release fertilizer = 1.2:1:0.08 evenly. Fill in the 72-hole seedling trays. Spray the substrate with 400 times of sodium disulfonate for sterilization. Seal the greenhouse for a day.

[0027] Ear cuttings collection and cutting cuttings: Between 6:00 and 9:00 in the morning, take the half-lignified female parent cuttings of North American holly that has been asexually propagated for more than three generations, and spray water to keep them moist after collection. The cut cuttings are divided into the top section of the male plant, the middle section of the male plant, the top section of the female pl...

Abstract

The invention discloses a cuttage propagation method for North American holly branches. The cuttage propagation method includes the steps 1), selecting a 'No.1 irrigation cuttage' cuttage medium, putting the same into a plug seedling tray for solidation and spraying a germicide and disinfectant; 2), performing cuttage from late May to early June after disinfecting a cuttage greenhouse and the cuttage medium; 3), selecting semi-lignified branches to serve as cutting shoots which are divided into male and female plants and subjected to grading, and performing plug seeding tray cuttage after treatment via 'No.2 irrigation growth' and 'No.3 irrigation growth' rooting agents; 4), performing full-exposure mist spraying cuttage, controlling the temperature to be from 32DEG C to 38DEG C and the humidity to be from 90% to 100%, spraying the germicide and disinfectant once every 6 to 9 days, and timely removing dead seedlings; 5), after about one month, spraying leaf fertilizer; 6), gradually ventilating to exercise the seedlings according to rooting conditions after 40 days. By the cuttage propagation method, the annual seedlings can grow to be about 35-45mm and bloom the next year; the problems that leaves of the North American holly branch cuttage seedlings are prone to water loss to fall off and roots are prone to waterlogging and decaying and the like are effectively solved, and the defects that propagation of the North American holly branches is difficult and seedling sprouting speed is low are overcome.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a plant breeding technology, in particular to a cutting breeding method for all-light spraying branches of North American holly. Background technique [0002] North American holly is a perennial deciduous shrub of the holly family holly. North American holly has a long time to bear fruit and can last until spring. After the leaves fall, the branches are covered with bright red and bright fruits, adding a festive color to the decadent and cold winter. It is a garden seedling with great ornamental and economic value. . The North American holly origin is in the northeastern United States, and it is often used in Europe and the United States as cutting branches, fruit viewing, bonsai modeling, landscaping and other applications. my country started late in the production and application of North American holly, and only a few seedling companies in Zhejiang, Henan and other provinces have conducted production research. Due to the ...
