The calibration method comprises the following steps: (1) placing a left collimator and a right collimator on an optic platform; (2) placing a pentagonal prism in front of the left collimator and observing by an auto collimation instrument in the direction approximately perpendicular to the collimators, wherein a cross line can be seen; and continuously adjusting the left collimator, wherein when the cross line is at the central line of the auto collimation instrument, the left collimator is horizontal; (3) repeating the step (2), and adjusting the right collimator to be horizontal; (4) assembling a left CCD camera and a right CCD camera on a high-precision adjusting platform, adjusting the left and right CCD cameras to enable the optic axes of the left and right CCD cameras to be coincided with the optic axes of the left and right collimators respectively so as to determine that the optic axes of the left and right CCD cameras are parallel; and (5) connecting the left and right CCD cameras with a PC, rotating the adjusting platform and recording the rotating angles.
