Abstract

The invention discloses a method for acquiring a broadband radio frequency signal source with ultralow phase noise, which adopts an optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) with adjustable broadband frequency to be synchronized with an optical comb on different harmonic frequencies so as to generate a microwave signal with high stability and low phase noise. The method concretely comprises the steps that a pulse string signal is generated through the optical comb and is divided into two parts, the two parts respectively act on two independent optical phase detectors, a radio frequency signal is obtained through the OEO and is also divided into two parts, phase discrimination is carried out on the two parts of signals and the two parts of signals obtained from the OEO respectively, thus two phase error signals are generated, and one phase error signal is fed back to a voltage offset end of the OEO after being processed and is locked, so that the broadband radio frequency signal with ultralow phase noise is obtained.
