Problems solved by technology

[0004] In the proposed computer-aided diagnosis system for breast cancer based on ultrasound images, after the ultrasound images are segmented, the clinician usually needs to manually select the tumor area from the segmented sub-regions before proceeding with subsequent analysis operations. Severely reduces the automation of computer-aided diagnosis and introduces clinician subjectivity

Embodiment Construction

[0058] The present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the embodiments and the accompanying drawings, but the embodiments of the present invention are not limited thereto.

[0059] The present invention can be well realized by adopting various programming languages such as C language.

[0060] Such as figure 1 As shown, a method for automatic identification of breast tumor regions based on ultrasound images includes the following five steps:

[0061] Step (1) Preprocessing: Due to complex factors such as imaging environment and imaging principle, ultrasound images have inherent features such as speckle noise, multiple shadows, and low contrast, making the overall quality of ultrasound images poor. Therefore, before segmenting the ultrasound image, preprocessing such as denoising is required to suppress the adverse effects of speckle noise. Since the edge characteristics of the image should not be damaged while smoothing the speckle noise...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for automatically identifying a breast tumor area based on an ultrasound image. The method comprises the following steps of acquiring the ultrasound image of the breast, and preprocessing the ultrasound image; segmenting the ultrasound image subjected to preprocessing through an image segmentation method to obtain a plurality of segmented subareas; extracting a grey level histogram, texture features, gradient features and morphological features of the ultrasound image, and combining the grey level histogram, the texture features, the gradient features and the morphological features of the ultrasound image with two-dimensional position information to obtain high-dimensionality feature vectors; selecting the most effective feature subset of the high-dimensionality feature vectors through feature ordering based on biclustering and a selection method; performing learning classification on the selected most effective feature subset through a classifier, and then automatically identifying the breast tumor area. By means of the method, the breast tumor area can be identified automatically from segment results of the breast tumor ultrasound image, therefore, automation performance of computer-aided diagnosis is improved, manual operation of clinical doctors is reduced, and subjective influence of clinical doctors is reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of computer-aided diagnosis, in particular to a method for automatically identifying breast tumor regions based on ultrasound images. Background technique [0002] Today, breast cancer has become one of the major diseases that threaten women's lives. However, the specific pathology of breast cancer is still unknown to human beings. Early detection and early treatment have become the main way to obtain effective treatment. With the development of society and the advancement of technology, ultrasound imaging has become one of the main detection methods for breast tumors due to its non-invasive, low-cost, simple and reliable features. [0003] However, the diagnosis relying on ultrasound images is experience-dependent and will inevitably be affected by the subjective factors of clinicians, which will greatly reduce the accuracy and reliability of diagnostic results. Therefore, in order to avoid the influence of subjecti...
