Driving method and circuit for automatic voltage output of active matrix organic light emitting device and data drive circuit using the same

Disclosed herein is a driving method and circuit for the automatic voltage output of an active matrix organic light emitting device, which is capable of resolving the non-uniformity of brightness between pixels. The circuit of the present invention includes timing generation means for generating a data drive start signal; sweep voltage generation means for generating a sweep voltage signal in response to output of the timing generation means; current level detection means for sensing an amount of current, which flows into pixels, based on output of the sweep voltage generation means, and outputting a sensing result to a data line; comparison means for comparing output of the current level detection means with a reference signal that determines stop timing for data writing, and outputting a comparison result; and data writing start / end control signal generation means for starting to operate in response to the output of the timing generation means, and generating data writing start and end control signals to a program stop line of a display panel. The invention can shorten data writing time and improve the precision of data writing. Furthermore, the present invention can simplify a data drive circuit and achieve the uniformity of brightness between pixels.

The invention relates to a linear permanent magnet driving system and a permanent magnet driving maglev train rail system, the linear permanent magnet driving system comprises spiral rotors and stators, wherein at least one of the spiral rotor and the stator adopts the structure having a permanent magnet while the other one adopts the structure having the permanent magnet or a magnetizer; when the spiral rotors are driven by an engine to rotate, linear motion of the spiral rotors is achieved by means of the magnetic force between both, and speed of the linear motion of the spiral rotors can reach supersonic speed at most. By applying the linear permanent magnet driving system to the permanent magnet driving maglev train rail system, the entire rail can avoid the use of both permanent magnet and driving coil, and the construction cost of maglev train rail is equivalent to that of the current high-speed wheel / rail. The permanent magnet driving maglev train can save energy by 60 to 90% compared with wheel / rail train when traveling at low speed below 80 kilometers per hour and save energy by about 50% compared with high-speed wheel / rail train when traveling at high speed above 200 kilometers per hour. The invention can realize the interchangeability of maglev rail and common rail, leading the maglev rail to universality, networkability and compatibility in modern transportation.

The present invention is directed to a cholesteric liquid crystal display that includes a homogeneous alignment surface effective to provide increased brightness, low focal conic reflectance and/or reflected light that is to a significant degree circularly polarized. The homogeneous alignment surface substantially homogeneously aligns the liquid crystal director adjacent thereto. The homogeneous alignment surface may be disposed on one or both sides of a cell of the display. In the case of a cell in which the homogeneous alignment surface is disposed on only one side, the substrate with the inhomogeneous alignment surface may be upstream or downstream of the substrate with the homogeneous alignment surface relative to a direction of incident light. Also included especially in the case of a cell that has the homogeneous alignment surface on both sides is the use of a polarizer to provide very good brightness and low focal conic reflectance. Such a cell may employ an alignment layer material with a high pretilt angle. A stacked display may be produced including at least one cell with at least one homogeneous alignment surface. In particular, a stacked cell display may include a lower cell with two homogeneous alignment surfaces and an upper cell in which the top side has an inhomogeneous alignment surface and the bottom side has a homogeneous alignment surface. The present invention achieves any one or combinations of the above features through the use of the homogeneous alignment surface produced with a predetermined alignment layer material and predetermined alignment conditions. The invention also includes a method of making the inventive display and the stacked inventive display.
