According to the retarding self-closing polymer cement waterproof coating, after the two components are stirred and mixed, a highly dispersed retarding agent is contained, the retarding agent fast emulsifies moisture contained in a mixture to generate double electric layers, and the double electric layers can prolong the setting time of a coated film by reducing the interaction of the cement and the water, so that the construction safety is ensured; more unhydrated cement can be retained in the coated film because of the existence of the retarding agent, and more crystals can be generated to intensify self closure when the coated film cracks to cause water leakage; the self closure of the coated film is less than 6 hours; and the initial setting time of the coating is more than 50 minutes.
