Abstract

The invention discloses an IPSec security alliance hardware lookup device and method based on the IPv6. The hardware lookup device comprises an IP data package receiving module, a compression module, a CAM lookup and matching module and a security alliance storage module, wherein the IP data package receiving module is used for receiving IPv6 data packages transmitted by an internet access, conducting caching on the data packages and extracting prefabricated parameters in the data packages; the compression module is used for conducting bit wide compression processing on the data output by an IP data package receiving module; the CAM lookup and matching module is used for conducting lookup and matching on the compressed data information; the security alliance storage module is used for outputting security alliance information according to the indexed address. According to the IPSec security alliance hardware lookup device and method based on the IPv6, the field programmable gate array (FPGA) is adopted to achieve the whole processing procedure, the device and method have the advantage of being high in lookup speed, the lookup speed of a security alliance database is effectively increased, and the processing efficiency of the whole IPSec is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of network security, in particular to an IPv6-based IPSec security alliance hardware search device and method. Background technique [0002] With the continuous innovation of network technology, network development is facing new challenges and opportunities, and the importance of network security is becoming more and more prominent. In order to improve the security of network information exchange, the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) proposed the IPSec protocol for the network layer in 1988 to make up for the shortcomings of the network protocol itself that does not provide security. On the other hand, with the exponential growth of the number of Internet users, many shortcomings of the IPv4 protocol are gradually emerging. The IETF launched the next-generation Internet Protocol IPv6 in 1994. After more than ten years of development, IPv6-related technologies have gradually matured, and have moved fro...
