Abstract

The preparation method of the rubber modifier is simple, the various components for preparing the rubber modifier only need to be simply heated, mixed and granulated, the heating temperature involved in the preparation method is relatively low, and the problems of energy consumption in the preparation process and environmental pollution caused by heating of the matrix asphalt to the relatively high temperature are reduced. By applying the rubber modifier to an asphalt mixture, the prepared rubber modified asphalt mixture has good road using performance. Compared with an existing matrix asphalt mixture and an SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) modified asphalt mixture, the performances of the rubber modified asphalt mixture are far better than those of the matrix asphalt mixture and are basically consistent with those of the SBS modified asphalt mixture, and the cost is far lower than that of the SBS modified asphalt mixture.
