When being used in water, water would completely enter pores of the porous material, when sound wave enters the porous material, the sound wave can be well absorbed by the foamed aluminum of the porous material, and the sound energy would be well converted into heat effect to be absorbed. The composite sound-proof baffle for the sonar array has the performances of the sound absorption material and acoustic reflection material, and through using the air-rich, light and low-impedance low-density polystyrene foam material as the acoustic reflection material, the composite sound-proof baffle is capable of resisting a high water pressure.
