Abstract

The invention provides a system for testing a water chilling unit with a load. The system comprises a cooling device, a refrigerating device, a water chilling unit to be tested and a heat exchanger used for water and water heat exchange. Part of cooling water, cooled by the cooling device, in cooling water flowing out of a condenser of the water chilling unit and the rest of cooling water which is not cooled by the cooling device are mixed, part of the mixed cooling water enters the heat exchanger to conduct heat exchange with refrigerating water of a refrigerating water side loop, emits heat to the refrigerating water, then is mixed with the rest of the mixed cooling water and enters the condenser of the water chilling unit to absorb heat , and thus a cooling water side loop is formed. The refrigerating water flowing out of an evaporator of the water chilling unit passes through the refrigerating device, then enters the heat exchanger to conduct heat exchange with the cooling water of the cooling water side loop, absorbs heat from the cooling water and then enters the evaporator of the water chilling unit to emit heat, and thus the refrigerating water side loop is formed. The invention further provides a corresponding method. By the implementation of the system and the method, the water chilling unit can be tested under an unloaded condition.
