By emulsifying and dispersing essential oil ingredients by virtue of the natural emulsifier, the natural air freshener disclosed by the invention, different from conventional alcohol solvent products, is safe and not stimulating; meanwhile, with the significant bacteriostatic activity, the natural air freshener can be used for effectively inhibiting the growth of planktonic microorganisms in public places (railway station, movie theater and the like), hotels, rooms, cars and the like, and can be used for freshening the air and removing odor.
