The method comprises the following steps: 1, purifying the waste hydrochloric acid solution: taking a steel waste acid solution, adjusting the pH value, adding a certain amount of waste sheet iron, carrying out controlled temperature hydrolysis for 18-24h, adding a flocculating agent, standing for above 24h, and taking the obtained supernatant; 2, preparing crystal seeds: adding the solution obtained in step 1, liquid alkali and water into a crystal seed tank, controlling the temperature and the pH value, and carrying out a preliminary oxidation reaction on ferrous chloride to generate a small amount of iron oxide nuclei; 3, carrying out an oxidation reaction: pumping the nuclei into an oxidation tank, adding sheet iron and water, and introducing compressed air to fully oxidize in order to generate iron oxide crystals on the nuclei; 4, processing byproducts; and 5, carrying out purifying post-treatment.
