A divergent laser beam is used to go through the cold and hot water mixed in a transparent water tank, the circular light spots are formed through the projection on a light screen, the thermal equilibrium process picture of the hot and cold water of a laser beam transmitting area is amplified by several times, thus the hot and cold water mixing thermal equilibrium process can be visually observed, and a microscale and small temperature difference cold and hot water mixing process can be clearly displayed. At the same time, by increasing the distance between the light screen and the water tank, the sizes of the circular light spots are changed, and the method is more suitable for a classroom demonstration experiment.
