Embodiments of the present invention disclose a data processing method, and a communications device and system, where the method include: transmitting, by a communications device, a data packet to a receiving node by using an unlicensed spectrum resource and by using a hybrid automatic repeat request process; determining, by the communications device, that the unlicensed spectrum resource is unavailable and an unsuccessfully-sent data packet exists in the hybrid automatic repeat request process; and triggering, by the communications device, ARQ retransmission for the unsuccessfully-sent data packet. By means of the method, and the communications device and system of the embodiments of the present invention, when the unlicensed spectrum resource is unavailable, data can be effectively transmitted in time.
