Abstract

The low-voltage ride-through circuit comprises a crowbar circuit and an absorption circuit, wherein the crowbar circuit is connected between positive and negative ends of a direct-current bus of a converter and a generator rotor through a circuit breaker. The invention further discloses a control method for the low-voltage ride-through circuit of the doubly-fed wind generator set. The crowbar circuit is selectively triggered according to the amount of the excess energy on the rotor side.
