Abstract

The step of correcting the distortion of the spliced image comprises the sub-steps of extracting the profile of each wheel from the spliced image, and obtaining a ratio of the horizontal diameter to the vertical diameter of each wheel from the corresponding wheel profile; if the ratio is more than a first predefined threshold, horizontally compressing the spliced image according to the ratio; and if the ratio is less than a second predefined threshold, horizontally stretching the spliced image.
