Abstract

The invention provides a low-power-consumption intelligent bus arrival reminding method for a cellphone terminal. The method includes following steps: step 1, when a passenger takes a bus, the passenger sends a request of route information of the bus which the passenger is going to take to a server terminal by employing a wireless network data transmission and reception module of the cellphone terminal; step 2, the server terminal returns the route information of the bus which the passenger is going to take to the passenger; step 3, the passenger selects a destination station, an arrival reminding critical distance is set, and the maximum average speed of the bus is estimated; step 4, after the cellphone terminal receives coordinate information of the to-be-arrived station, a GPS module of the cellphone terminal is opened, the GPS module locates the current bus position and obtains the current position coordinate of the passenger, and the position refers to the current position of the bus; and step 5, the linear distance between the current position and the target station is calculated. No matter how far it is, the calculating frequency can be always maintained to be lower than 10. The method does not need to add extra devices on the buses.
