Abstract

The pressure sensing based liquid ammonia pipeline leak detection system with the cladding layer comprises a cladding layer device, pressure sensors, cables, a liquid ammonia pipeline and a data processing system, wherein the cladding layer device wraps the liquid ammonia pipeline, an independent hermetic air chamber is formed in the cladding layer device, and the pressure sensors are mounted in the hermetic air chamber. When a specific position of the pipeline leaks, the pressure sensors transmit detection signals to the data processing system, and the data processing system computes to analyze the leaked position. The pressure sensing based liquid ammonia pipeline leak detection system is provided with a self-detecting unit for detecting line faults to guarantee normal running of the system.
