The degreaser comprises a degreasing sleeve which is formed by combining the groove openings of a first degreasing groove and a second degreasing groove in a buckled manner, wherein flexible oil-adsorbing layers are arranged on the groove surfaces of the first and second degreasing grooves; the degreasing sleeve is connected with a bracket through bearings; the bracket is arranged on a rack; and a synchronizing wheel is detachably arranged on the degreasing sleeve, and connected with a motor through a synchronizing belt. The degreaser is simple in structure and has the advantages that the degreasing sleeve is arranged on the periphery of the steel wire rope in a sleeving manner, and thus the relative motion between the flexible oil-adsorbing layers and the surface of the steel wire rope during rotation of the degreasing sleeve can be utilized for adsorbing grease on the surface of the steel wire rope.
