Abstract

The invention discloses an LED backlight drive circuit which comprises an LED load circuit including a first set of LED loads and a second set of LED loads, a current power supply circuit for receiving current of a power supply and converts into the current for driving the LED load circuit, a current sharing circuit which is arranged between the output terminal of the current power supply circuit and the input terminal of the LED load circuit and comprises at least one coupling inductor for balancing the current between the first set of LED loads and the second set of LED loads, and a voltage difference detection circuit which comprises an auxiliary winding arranged on the coupling inductor and a switch circuit connected to the two ends of the auxiliary winding. The output terminal of the switch circuit serves as an enabling end for controlling the LED backlight drive circuit. The LED backlight drive circuit realizes effective circuit protection when voltage difference of two paths of LED loads is excessively great, prevents damage of an LED lamp and further protects screen equipment.
