The control method can adopt a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) manner to control the electronic fan according an actual demand, can adjust the duty ratio and control the electronic fan to run according to the duty ratio, and then can achieve multilevel control of the electronic fan. Compared with two-level speed adjustment manner of resistance speed adjustment or relay speed adjustment, the control method and device can adjust the rotation speed of the electronic fan according to the actual demand, and can reduce noise on the premise of meeting the respective function of the electronic fan.
