Compact volumetric pump

Pump for lubrication, including: a nose mounted on and driven by a shaft; a piston that is in contact with the nose; a spring acting on the piston; an inlet check valve located in an inlet port; and an exhaust check valve arranged in an exhaust port, wherein the inlet check valve and the exhaust check valve have no preload springs and are arranged vertically in a normally closed position due to gravity acting on internal balls of the inlet check valve and the exhaust check valve.
