Abstract

The invention relates to a special lathe for ultraprecise automatic processing of a hollow shaft. Two ends of a lathe body are coaxially provided with two electric spindles. A feeding mechanism is installed in front of the electric spindles. Through the feeding mechanism, a workpiece is accurately fed. A clamping device is installed beside the feeding mechanism. A motor and a cam transmission shaft are installed below the lathe body. The motor is in the transmission connection with the cam transmission shaft. The cam transmission shaft is provided with a transmission mechanism formed by multiple cams, successively used for controlling the movement of the clamping device, a feeding plate, a detaching plate, and the electric spindles, and realizing the processing for the end face of an aluminum pipe. The special lathe uses an electric spindle technology, so that the headstock structure of the lathe is compact. Eight cams are used for driving each actuating element, the full automation of whole machine is implemented, and the structure is simple and reliable. The workpiece is clamped by using the self-alignment, the over-positioning and the uneven clamping force are avoided in the clamping process of the workpiece, and a fine adjustment mechanism is installed to satisfy the needed clamping force.
