Problems solved by technology

Due to auxiliary measures the system is degraded with regard to important target variables such as lightweight construction and robustness
In addition, the costs and manufacturing effort increase due to the additional measures
[0006] In vehicles driven by electric motors, especially in urban traffic, there is the problem that the vehicle is relatively difficult to perceive acoustically due to the low noise generation, which leads to increased risks
The disadvantage here is that the rotational speed and torque output by the electric motor fluctuate due to the noise generated

[0022] figure 1 An electric auxiliary steering device 1 of a motor vehicle is shown with a steering wheel 2 which is coupled to the upper steering shaft 3 and the lower steering shaft 4 in a rotationally fixed manner. The lower steering shaft 4 is also coupled to the driving gear 5 of the steering mechanism in a torsion-resistant manner. The steering gear drive gear 5 meshes with the tooth section of the rack 6 in a known manner. The rack 6 is movably installed in the steering gear housing along its longitudinal axis. The rack 6 is connected to the tie rod 7 at its free end. The tie rod 7 itself is connected in a known manner via a steering knuckle to each of the steered wheels 8 of the motor vehicle. The rotation of the steering wheel 2 via the connection of the steering shafts 3 and 4 and the driving gear 5 causes the longitudinal movement of the rack 6 and thus causes the pivoting of the steered wheel 8. The steered wheel 8 undergoes a reaction via the lane, which reactio...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for the noise modulation of an electric motor, wherein the electric motor is a three-phase synchronous motor that is driven by means of a motor control unit (12) using a vector control. In a closed-loop control system, actual values for the rotated current components id and iq are obtained, wherein id corresponds to the magnetizing current and iq to the torque-forming current of the synchronous motor, and wherein the actual values are compared with specified reference variables (iq_soll, id_soll). In a duty cycle for a PWM generator, the differences between the actual values and the reference variables are converted to manipulated variables by way of a first control unit (18) and a first transformation stage (20) in order to adjust the actual values (iq, id) to the reference variables (iq_soll, id_soll). As a function of an acoustic state, which is measured by a measuring device (15) and which was transmitted to the motor control unit (12) by means of a signal output (16), the current component (id) forming the magnetizing current is adjusted to a desired acoustic state by way of an acoustic controller (22, 28).

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for noise modulation of an electric motor with the characteristics of the preamble of claim 1. Background technique [0002] As far as the present invention is concerned, in addition to audible noise, noise that can be perceived as vibration is also included in the term "noise". [0003] The electric motor is used, for example, in a power steering device or a superimposed steering device of a motor vehicle to support the steering wheel hand torque operated by the driver or to apply an additional steering angle. In an electromechanical steering device, an electric motor at the steering column or steering gear supports and superimposes the steering movement of the driver. [0004] During operation, for example, an electromechanical steering device in a stationary steering motion generates acoustic emissions, which must be attributed to the electric motor. The radial magnetic field component of the electric motor causes periodic...
