Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a system for simulating short-circuit current shunt coefficients of a converter station. The method comprises the steps of: respectively creating a converter station model and a converter station line model in a PSCAD (Power Systems Computer Aided Design) platform according to structure parameters and line parameters of the converter station, performing short-circuit fault simulation analysis on the converter station model and the converter station line model, reading short-circuit current and earth current waveforms obtained by PSCAD platform simulation, importing the short-circuit current and earth current waveforms into a Matlab platform, and calculating and analyzing the short-circuit current and earth current waveforms by the Matlab platform to obtain the short-circuit current shunt coefficients in a transient state and a steady state of the converter station model respectively. Based on combined simulation of the PSCAD and Matlab platforms, the PSCAD platform can correctly reflect the influence of devices on the converter station and the line on the shunt coefficients, and the transient-state and steady-state shunt coefficients when the converter station has a short-circuit fault are calculated via the Matlab platform, so the calculation method is simple, feasible and high in calculation speed.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of grounding grids of converter stations, in particular to a method and system for simulating a short-circuit current shunt coefficient of a converter station. Background technique [0002] Transmission line-to-ground short circuit fault is a common fault in the power system. When a line-to-ground short circuit occurs in or around the power station, the short-circuit current will flow into the ground through the ground grid of the converter station. The calculation of the maximum ground fault current is the basis for the design of the grounding system of the converter station and substation, and is directly related to the safety performance of the power station, because the maximum ground current will produce the most serious ground potential rise, step voltage and contact voltage. When a short-circuit fault occurs in a power station, the short-circuit current does not completely enter the ground from the gr...
