According to the flow battery energy storage system, the system with the intermittent energy and the flow battery energy storage management method provided by the invention, the parallel flow battery energy storage units can be independent of each other, thus the cost is reduced and modularization is easy to be realized; the SOC equalized charging is realized by a liquid flow energy storage management system and a power conversion device; one power conversion device is set for each flow battery device to carry out closed-loop control, so as to realize accurate adjustment of flow equalization and power equalization, rapid response and high efficiency; and a power conversion branch performs voltage balancing control on an electric pile branch, the power conversion branch is decoupled from other control objectives, and the control is simple and effective.
