Abstract

The invention discloses a regeneration method for a diesel particulate filter of a diesel vehicle. According to the regeneration method, a diesel oxidation catalyst and the diesel particulate filter are sequentially connected in series at the downstream of a gas outlet of an engine of the diesel vehicle through exhaust pipes, a carrier material of the diesel particulate filter is selected to ensure that the exhaust gas pressure difference between an inlet and an outlet of the diesel particulate filter can be measured in a quantitative manner, and a first working condition parameter set in advance is stored in the diesel vehicle. The regeneration method comprises the passive regeneration starting process, wherein the passive regeneration starting process is executed only when the diesel vehicle meets the requirement of the first working condition parameter and comprises the step of circularly executing the following procedures of determining the exhaust gas pressure difference between the inlet and the outlet of the diesel particulate filter; comparing the measured exhaust pressure difference with a preset threshold value, and increasing the exhaust temperature at an inlet of the diesel oxidation catalyst if the measured exhaust pressure difference is greater than or equal to the threshold value; and continuing measuring the exhaust pressure difference if the measured exhaust pressure difference is less than the threshold value.
