The panoramic imaging system of the invention comprises at least a spherical multi-camera fixing structure, cameras and an image acquisition and processing module; the cameras are fixed on the spherical surface of the spherical multi-camera fixing structure; all the cameras observe and photograph the same target object simultaneously; the target object is located in a hemispherical field of view formed by the intersection of the fields of view of all the cameras; and all parts of the target object can be observed and photographed. According to the panoramic imaging system, the high-speed image acquisition and processing module is adopted, so that the image information in all directions, of the target object can be obtained in real time quickly; and the panoramic image of the object is obtained through image correction and splicing, and is displayed in real time.
